My old car, and it does drive straight, it was involved in a frontend accident and the radiator support is a bit tweaked but nothing major, it was NEVER a "total loss" as you mentioned.

you realize this car is 14 years old....it had a loss in 98 and then in 99 their you go if you want the full report pm me your email and ill send it to you. and it failed emissions 5 owners oh and it had an accident in july also

The car drives straight and good etc etc. It has a clean title, NOT salvage. So dude let it go, let him trade the car, sell the car, or whatever. There is no way this thing is a deathtrap.
