I have kept up on all oil changes (BMW's require oil changes @ 7500 miles but I changed it every 5000). When I bought the car I did everything possible to keep it in perfect running condition, fuel injector cleaner, new fuel filter, seafoam, you name it... This car runs like silk... I have had no problems with the car other than regular maintainance. I am an active bimmerforum member and take care of my car.
Now for the flaws:
-The car does have a ding on the rear passenger door, and a ding over the rear wheel well.
-The headlights are hazed and should be cleaned out.
-The front seat bottoms do show moderate wear.
-There is one line out on the radio display which gets very annoying.
Other than that....
*The OEM BMW 6 Disc CD Changer works very well and it reads burned CD's. The factory audio system has amazing quality but lacks bass. Nothing aftermarket has been installed in the car because I did not want to mess with the electrical system.
*The suspension is in good condition. The car runs and drives very solid (like any well maintained BMW). Starts up strong, idles smooth like silk, and cruises on the highways. You have to drive it get to know it.
*Car has no aftermarket engine modifications. This is a luxury car, not a race car.
*Very technologically advanced car. The car has 6+ airbags, steel doors, steel frame, so many advanced safety features that you won't find on other 98 models.
*RWD car with Dynamic Stability Control that works very well.
*A/C was recently recharged, Dual Climate control, Front Heated Seats.
*Optional: Whistler K40 Radar Detector installed with front and rear sensors and buttons for it are concealed above the cupholders and display is to the right of the ignition.
*Comes with Original Keys that came with it from the factory (2) and an extra spare key. (Keys from BMW are ~$150 and take 3 days to make).
*Comes with Original Owners manual and service book. I ordered a carfax report for the car but those muthaf****s cancelled my membership on me. (I guess it was supposed to be only valid for a month....b**tchz)
