.: CORNER BALANCING SERVICES flat rate of $80 :. (other services provided. see 1st post)« » Reply  Edit

What’s up hondatech,

I ALSO OFFER OTHER SERVICES BESIDES CORNER BALANCING. please see bottom of this post

As some of you may or may not know, I recently started providing corner balancing, brake bleeding, brake pad and/or rotor, and other basic bolt on services out of my garage. I thought about possibly setting up a corner balancing day, but it looks like there will be a lot of events happening in the near future such as jdmtheory, cmi and a few shop openings. So instead, I will go ahead and just do this on a car to car basis BY APPOINTMENT ONLY until event calendars clear up. If you are interested, send me a pm and we can discuss appointments and directions to my house. I am available anytime whether it be a weekday or a weekend.

Phone number, email addy and home address will not be posted in this thread for privacy reason.

For those who want some kind of explanation as to what corner balancing is, here are some articles about it:
1. http://www.nsxprime.com/FAQ/Pe...e.htm
2. http://www.elephantracing.com/...e.htm
3. http://www.dietersmotorsports....e.htm

The way I explain it is this: think of a chair (car). Think of the 4 legs on the chair (the 4 wheels/tires). Now imagine if 1 leg is shorter. The “chair” wobbles right? Same concept.

take advantage of those ride height adjustable coil overs that are on your cars! those aren't just for you to lower and raise to your liking, they serve a very important purpose!

Things to remember on corner balancing day:
• You're coming to weigh your vehicle, so it should be "track ready" or whatever set up you want
• Bring your Spanner Wrenches
• Bring your Wheel Lock Key
• Fuel should be at desired level
• Spare tire should be removed
• All extra items in your vehicle should be removed
• CHECK TIRE PRESSURES (very important)
• Set ride height to desired “range”

INTRODUCTORY PRICE IS SET AT $80 regardless of how long it takes! this price will go up slightly in the future so take advantage! you can't beat this price anywhere!

print outs of before and after, with and without driver will be provided.

i should also mention that i provide others services besides corner balancing such as:
-BRAKE BLEEDING
-pad and/or rotor replacement
-coilover installation
-big brake kit install
-any other basic bolt on install

corner balancing is not just for track cars. if you want a well balanced street car, you should go for it. before i started doing this, i used to always get my street cars corner balanced. you should take advantage of those coil-overs, they're not just for lowering

The on going debate is what comes first. Corner balance first then alignment? Or allignment then corner balance? Honestly, there's really no step 1 step 2. Its which ever you want to do.

depends on what car and how off the balance is. generally, it's right around 1-2 hours. if it's REALLY off, then it may take up to 3hours. no more than that. care to share what car this is for?

either way works. you can either drop off the cars or you can be there. which ever is convenient for you.
